The call for abstracts has gone out for the European Forum for Primary Care conference for 2015 Deadline 1st May 2015
Last year we were delighted that in association with COTEC, Marije Bolt was an active participant in the 2014 Barcelona conference, leading workshops, sitting on panels, giving presentations and hosting sessions. It would be great if more Occupational Therapists could be active on the European platform. Last year Marije reported to us in our December Newsletter that Occupational Therapists were involved in leading several workshops and was seen as a much more important profession in primary care (in comparison to previous years). It would be great to keep that momentum going.
The EFPC conference is 31st August-1st September 2015, in Amsterdam, Netherlands
If you know any Health or Education projects, conferences or practice developments that you would like us to share in this feed with our members then please email email@example.com
Our ambition is to help mobilise Occupational Therapists to become more visible in Health and Social Care Education and Practice across Europe.
One simple thing we can do is share opportunities for OTs to become more prominent in their field!
Recently in the UK the Guardian a national Newspaper, sponsored by the British Association of Occupational Therapists and College of Occupational Therapists ran a short series about OT in their Social Care segment.

Exposure like this, even if limited, really does help raise the profile of Occupational Therapy.
Do you know of any other articles from across Europe about Occupational Therapy we can help support?
We want to help raise the profile of OT in every EU country both nationally and internationally!
