Occupational Science Europe Conference 2019 – Amsterdam

 

Hello valued partners,

In August we will be hosting the Occupational Science Europe Conference in Amsterdam. Our theme is Europe in Transition: Impact on occupation and health. We have an exciting line-up of keynote speakers and in between speakers we will have inter-disciplinary presentations, research paper presentations and poster debate sessions. We are excited to welcome you in Amsterdam and to share with you the tastes, sounds and sights of our diverse community!

We are happy to announce our first keynote speaker! After recently defending her PhD titled “It’s My Party: Opportunities for older adults to influence everyday activities in a nursing home setting”, Dr. Margarita Mondaca Arriagada will hold a keynote titled: “Towards a Responsive Occupational Science in Europe”

Make sure you submit your abstract on time in order to attend this interesting keynote and the other interesting opportunities of the conference. We would like to officially announce that the abstract deadline has been extended! Deadline for abstracts is now January 20, 2019 at midnight!

Something that may be very interesting for you is our student prize. The best 5 student abstracts will be awarded a prize which will allow them to attend the whole conference for only 50 euros!! Please share this amongst your network!

ICIC19 – 19th International Conference on Integrated Care

ICIC19 -19th International Conference on Integrated Care, is going to San Sebastian, Basque Country from 1-3 April 2019. 

The overarching theme will be “Evaluating and implement models of integrated people-centred services”. The conference will bring together researchers, clinicians and managers from around the world who are engaged in the design and delivery of integrated health and social care.

The abstract submission is open until Friday, 31 August!

Are you interested in being part of an European Commission Database of Experts?

This database is open to scientists wishing to contribute to the work of the Scientific Committees on specific issues, on an ad hoc basis, as members of working groups or for scientific hearings and workshops.
All individuals with a good command of the English language and with a university degree in a relevant scientific area, preferably at postgraduate level, are welcome to register in the database of experts serving the Scientific Committees.

ENOTHE at the 21st European Congress of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. Vilnius, Lithuania.

 

Between the 1st and 6th of May, the 21st European Congress of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, occurred in Vilnius – Lithuania. 

The first working meeting between Marie-Antoinette Minis, President of ENOTHE and Occupational Therapy Educational Programs representatives from Riga Stradins University (Signe Tomsone), Tallinn Health Care College (Karin Lilienberg) and Vilnius University (Aušra Adomaviciene), took place. 

The development of Occupational Therapy in Ukraine is now about to begin.

The ENOTHE meeting is held each year at a different institution in a different European country. It is an opportunity to raise the profile of your Occupational Therapy programme/s at both a local and national level.
