The 28th ENOTHE Annual Meeting will take place between 23-25 October 2025, hosted by the Department of Occupational Therapy at the School of Health Sciences of the Polytechnic of Leiria, Leiria – Portugal.

Abstracts and Review

ENOTHE Annual Meetings audience is composed of occupational therapy educators, researchers, students, clinicians and other occupational therapy interested persons.

Abstract submission is done through an online platform, called ExOrdo. The information submitted, on this submission platform, will be the primordial reference for the annual meeting content related documents and communication. It is the author’s responsibility to submit correct information.

All submissions must be related to the theme and topics of the conference, with a clear focus on education in Occupational Therapy (OT) and Occupational Science (OS). You will be asked to choose one topic to submit under.

This Annual meeting will have a Book of Abstracts with ISBN. 

All presentations, regardless of the format, should be done in the ENOTHE official language – English.

 

Abstract submission period: January 1st to March 31st 2025

Abstract review results:  April 18th 2025

 

Presentation Formats available: Oral Presentation, Workshop, Poster (with option of pitch). Guidelines are under development

 

Meet-Up Adverts will be collected in a separate platform.

Would you like to be an abstract reviewer for this Annual Meeting?

Abstract  review is done through ExOrdo; number of abstracts per reviewer vary, but we look forward to do not have more than 15 abstracts assigned to each reviewer; this is a double-blind review; nepotism is prevented ; and reviewers cannot decline assigned reviews. 

Review period if from April 1st to 15th.

About Leiria:

The charming city of Leiria is located in the central region of Portugal, in the Leiria district, halfway between Porto and Lisbon. It is surrounded by one of the oldest state forests in the world and rests on the banks of the River Lis. The city spreads itself  over a series of hills, and from any given point you can see its great castle, a UNESCO heritage site.
