1st Baltic Congress of Scientific Researchers in Occupational Therapy

The 1st Baltic Congress of Scientific Researchers in Occupational Therapy took place on June 15th 2018, organized by Klaipėda University and the Lithuanian Occupational Therapy Association. The full day programme consisted of teachers, students and practitioners’ presentations from Vilnius University, Klaipėda University, Lithuania University of Health Sciences, Rygas Stradinš University and Tallinn University of applied sciences.

The tasks of European Network of Occupational Therapy in Higher Education (ENOTHE), Council of Occupational Therapists for European Countries (COTEC) and World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) is to strengthen research in occupational therapy and to bring together scientists from different countries, ENOTHE board member Alma Cirtautas presented the benefits of being an inclusive network. K. Lilienberg and I. Jekabsone talked about competences and opportunities for professional development in Estonia and Latvia.
